Behind the scenes at The Hub Magazine

by Aly Hazlewood on May 4, 2011

Here’s a few behind the scenes shots from my latest editorial for The Hub magazine. Really looking forward to seeing the finished shoot, the styling (by Nicole Smallwood) and location were all super glamourous.

Painting nails with YSL’s Rose Gold nail polish. One of my absolute faves. I’m going to cry when it dries up.

Note to self: must stop looking so worried whilst working

Applying YSL’s Teint Resist foundation and MAC pigment on the eyes

Followed by more bronzey/golds from Urban Decay’s Naked palette, contouring/highlighting on the cheeks and bronze liquid eyeliner by Top Shop

Last minute checks on set. It took ages to get the models in exactly the right position so one has to work around them. Fortunately my nose was clean.

All photos above courtesy of Richard Keech at www.RichardKeechPhotography.com

And here’s a couple of snaps from my hipstamatic… need I say more about this one? Er no, I don’t think so…

Hair by the very talented Hamilton. Just look at those Rose Gold nails glinting in the sun.

This vibrant purple lip colour is from a palette by Inglot, available at Westfield

‘Course I couldn’t resist a little photo opportunity with our gorgeous model Greg…Although someone pointed out we look like the cover of a cheesy Country ‘n Western album

I will post the final editorial when it goes live.
