I am very new to Givenchy make up and skin care, for some reason it’s a brand that I never really identified with. After testing several Givenchy products lately, all that has changed. Possibly my favourite beauty boost so far has been the Hydra Sparkling Tinted Luminescence Moisturising Cream SPF 15 (to give it it’s full title).
They say: Givenchy has created Hydra Sparkling, the new radiance-enhancing line of moisturizers with the Sparkling Water Complex®. A moisturizer that is thirst-quenching, energizing and exhilarating! An exceptional technology that traps moisture within the skin through a sparkling “effervescence”. The skin is intensely rehydrated and fully re-energized, glowing with radiance.
I say: This is not just a great moisturiser, it’s also a really great, lightweight base. The pigment level is very good, it definitely gives the skin a luminous glow without being shimmery, and the Luminescent Bronze shade is perfect for my warm skin tone. There are only 3 shades at the moment, I’d like to see a wider range of skin tones catered for, but aside from that I’m very impressed. It’s non-sticky and very easily absorbed, and I’m guessing it will look even better with the tan I’m about to accrue shooting in Ibiza.
Givenchy claims that this new ‘sparkling water complex’ increases the skin’s hydration levels by up to 73% just 2 hours after application. Obviously it’s impossible for me to verify this, however my skin does feel supple and well hydrated throughout the day. And you all know that I love an SPF in my moisturisers. I will definitely buy this again.

I bought this tinted moisturizer in Hawaii on vacation. It is absolutely fabulous but I cannot find it anywhere else in the US…any suggestions?
